Since establishing the practice in 2010, Jonathan Smith Architects have gained a reputation for designing a broad range of projects, from residential extensions, individually designed houses, apartment developments, offices, bespoke hotel design and restaurants. Recent projects include, a passive house design in the historic town of Beverley, an apartment hotel in the city center of Hull, three storey office building in Beverley and the recently completed restaurant Dacre Lakeside Park. The practice has recently won awards for an innovative single storey dwelling in East Yorkshire. All projects are informed by their setting, context, environmental considerations, social and economic constraints. We work closely with our clients to develop the brief and explore the full potential of each project.
